Madrigal Publishing is a micro publisher striving to make publishing more equitable by amplifying the voices of authors of the African diaspora. We highlight those that occupy multiple margins; queer, transgender, immigrant, first-generation, polyglot, and/or disabled. Madrigal Publishing's hybrid model allows authors to be involved in the creative direction of their work and maintain ownership. All contributors in the books production, from the author to the book designer to the printer, make a fair living wage through the proposal of an equitable sliding price scale: if you have more, pay more. A first of its kind in publishing. Our books intersect art and literature and are sold as limited edition, short run, works of art.
